Tās izmanto kopā ar spirālveida ventilācijas gaisvadiem, kā arī sistēmās bez gaisvadiem. Tās ļauj izvadīt ventilācijas traktu cauri dažādas konstrukcijas jumtiem un nostiprina pievades/izvades jumta žalūzijas vai pašplūsmas sistēmas elementa smagumu pie jumta struktūras.
